Ignatz,
I had a thought. What about a front and back cover, as either a single wraparound image, or as two separate images?
The front might depict the ship in full spender, and maybe the spaceman or station or something in the far background. The back could have everything else, along with an open patch of space for the back cover blurb. (I can put together come copy for that.) This offers up breathing room, eliminating the need to cram everything together into a single frame.
Thoughts?

David,
As to the front/back cover approach. This can be done if you so prefer. I can put together some 'quick' layouts for what you have suggested.

Ignatz,
The wraparound idea would eliminate some of the issues with compositing that I think we're running into. Doubling the physical space, without adding any new models to the imagery would be useful, no? Or, am I off the mark?

David,
Included is an idea piece (low res) for a front cover... back cover ideas still percolating. The Box Hauler is much more prominent, completely visible, a bit more dynamic and definitely less cluttered.
