It's Coming Along

Just a quickie update on “All He Surveys, Part 01”. (Or whatever I end up calling it; now that it's two books, I have more title requirements).

I'm about half way through Draft 03 right now...well, more-or-less. It's coming along pretty well, anyway. Tentatively, we're looking at a Fall 2022 release. You've heard that before, so don't bet the farm on it. But I am feeling confident, for what that's worth.

I learned a few new things about my process while working on this, and I believe I'll be able to carry these lessons over into new projects; most especially for Part 02. It will take some rearranging of my work environment, but nothing that can't be managed. I was shocked at the difference it made to include a relatively small (and in hindsight, obvious) change to my process. The details aren't important here, since this only pertains to my own approach to writing, but it's something I've taken to heart. And the net result is that I should be able to work better and faster. That's the goal. The vision, so to speak.

Anyway, this is enough of your time taken up. It's not much news, but it is good news!
