David,
I've started to dress up the containers a bit. Roberta Batewell's advertising is now to be seen on the outer end of the container of that container in the lower corner of the cargo frame.
You will see that I've added in the legally required safety striping around the access doors. This safety striping is shared by all shipping containers. I've added in a container registration number, but I'm unsure if this looks so nice in a graphic sense. Feedback appreciated.
Cheers,

Ignatz,
I like it all, including the safety striping, and the placement of the numbers.
One thing: I would imagine that the serial number would be printed on all six sides of a container, that way, it's always visible, if at least one face of the box is visible. It would probably be found in the same place on each side, i.e., upper right, for the sake of standardization.
Otherwise, this is looking really nice. It is "information dense", if that makes any sense. The image contains a huge amount of information about the ship, and how freight is moved across the stars, and even some aspects of the society.
These are great details!

David,
I'm pleased that you like what I've created for you. That suggestion for the serial number on all sides of a container makes perfect sense... along with the built in radio beacon ID transmitter installed within each container.
Now that I've decorated one container I'm planning to add some decoration to the others, perhaps not full decoration on all of them, maybe just numbers and company names. But it would be interesting to have some of the other containers dressed in company colors or such. To that end you might consider coming up with some company names, products, etc. that make sense in your universe. I can then take those names and develop some other decorative container logos/graphics. Yes!?
Cheers,
